Referred to as the ‘Working Women’s Oscars’, the Venus Awards were formed in 2009 to recognise, reward and celebrate local working women in business. Patronus Security UK Ltd actively recruit and employ women in a traditionally male dominated industry and it is for this reason that Nick, as Managing Director of the company, has been nominated for this prestigious award. Women play such a pivotal role in our local business and economies, it is crucial that employers who are ‘female friendly’ have the spotlight shone upon them. Nick is delighted to be nominated and sees this as a positive step toward encouraging more females into the security industry. The finalists ceremony will take place on 27 November.
